Datamining Showcases New Upcoming Cosmetics In Battlefield 2042

Data miner@temporyal has uncovered some appealing Battlefield 2042 new data-mined cosmetics skins in update 2.2. These new data-mined cosmetics include two legendary and six epic sets, yet to be included in the game. The skins are just in the data and not officially announced yet, so there’s a chance that they get scrapped later and do not appear in the game.

The 1st legendary skin is of Mackay. The skin has burning effects on it, which is the talk of the town as the original burnt skin from Battlefield V was a huge thing back then. The skin has an added gas mask which isn’t included in the default skin of Mackay. The skin has a black texture with some black metal-alike plates on it.

There’s no news yet about the burnt plank melee weapon returning yet. For those uninitiated, the burnt plank came in the burnt collection of Battlefield V. Maybe this burnt skin will also have a collection, and we’ll see burnt melee weapons and vehicles.

The second legendary skin is of Dozer, who isn’t much liked as an operator. His special skill is considered pretty useless by the community, but he still has a significant role in gameplay.

He is a defense operator with his skin also recoloring his shield. It uses black and dessert yellow colors to form attractive skin. The skin also replaces his gas mask with a cool-looking skull mask, giving the skin a legendary look.

The Battlefield 2042 new data-mined cosmetics include six epic skins of Casper, Falck, Mackay, and Lis and two Sundance skins. Two skins are white snow camo skins of Mackay and Falck. Meanwhile, a ghillie suit of Casper is also added.

Sundance has epic burnt skin with a gas mask and a hoodie. Players speculate that it might as well be in the burnt collection. The other skin of Sundance is yellowish dessert camo. The last epic skin is of Lis, with black color and a red-like effect on it. It’s possibly also a burnt skin and might be in the burnt collection.

With one legendary and two epic skins having burning effects, it seems like there will be a burnt collection. But still, there is no news about burnt weapons or vehicles being in the collection yet. Hopefully, we will see the burnt plank melee weapon return because it was one hilarious weapon skin.

There is no confirmation if all these skins will make it to the official announcement. So it is essential to take these with a grain of salt, and let’s wait for the official announcement.
