Diablo 4 adds many new gameplay mechanics to the game. As a result, the game is refined, and the gameplay is much more intuitive. One of these mechanics is allowing players to gather Legendary Aspects that can transform their ordinary weapons into Legendary. Therefore, in this guide, I will tell you about some of the best aspects of every class in Diablo 4.

- Location: Sunken Ruins, Scosglen
- Boosts the Hammer of the Ancient skill by increasing its area of effect and strength by 30-50%, making it a vital aspect for Barbarians specializing in this skill.
Author’s Trust
Diablo 4 is definitely among some of my favorite RPG games. From my experience, I have listed the best Legendary Aspects for every class so that players can make this choice easily.
– Shahzar Khalique
Aspects are a bit easier to find and manage in Diablo 4. This can be due to Codex of Power’s addition, allowing players to easily collect and manage their Legendary Aspects. Not all Legendary Aspects are found in the codex of power and would take players more effort to collect.
Aspect Of Might
Aspect Type: Defensive
Location: Dark Ravine, Dry Steppes
The Aspect of Might, from my experience, is one of the best Defensive Aspects in the game. This is also one of the Aspects available in Codex of Power and can be unlocked through a dungeon. This Aspect will allow players to take 20% less damage whenever they use Basic Skills.
- 20% damage reduction with Basic Skills.
- Limited to Basic Skills.
Aspect Of The Crowded Sage
Aspect Type: Defensive
Location: Found on Legendary Items
This Aspect is not in the Codex of Power, so players would need to explore the world for this Aspect. It allows players to heal themselves depending on the enemies surrounding them. The more enemies you have, the more you will be healed per second.
- Healing is based on nearby enemies.
- Not in the Codex of Power.
Edgemaster’s Aspect
Aspect Type: Offensive
Location: Oldstone, Scosglen
The Edgmaster’s Aspect is the Offensive aspect, also available in Codex of Power. As a result, I could unlock this Aspect through a Dungeon. It will allow players to deal 10 to 20% increased damage using any skill. However, this depends on the number of primary resources the player currently has.
- Increased damage based on Primary Resources.
- Reliant on resource management.
Conceited Aspect
Aspect Type: Offensive
Location: Found on Legendary Items
The Conceited Aspect is another aspect not in your Codex of Power. However, this benefits all classes, especially in the late game. It enables players to deal 20 to 30% more damage to enemies. You will need to have Barrier active for this Aspect.
- Damage boost with active Barrier.
- Limited to Barrier users.
We know that these aspects can sometimes be universal. However, sometimes the Aspect you get is only for a fixed class. Therefore, here we will discuss some of the best aspects of the barbarian class.
As a result, no other type can use these aspects, and only Barbarians can take full advantage of them.
These Aspects will function almost the same as the Univeral aspects. Players can find them in their Codex of Power or extract them from Legendary items.
Following are some of the best Legendary Aspects for the Barbarian class in Diablo 4:
Aspect Of Encroaching Wrath
Aspect Type: Offensive
Location: Found on Legendary Items
This Aspect is an excellent addition for any player with a Barbarian build. However, it is essential to remember that it is unavailable in the Codex of Power. This Aspect provides a significant buff to your Weapon Mastery skill.
It allows you to deal almost double the damage with the craft after you have spent 100 Fury.
- Significant buff to Weapon Mastery.
- Requires 100 Fury.
Aspect Of Ancestral Force
Location: Sunken Ruins, Scosglen
This is one of the most vital aspects available for the Barbarian class. As a result, the Aspect provides a significant buff to the Hammer of the Ancient. It increases the hammer’s area of effect and strength by 30 to 50%.
- Buffs Hammer of the Ancient.
- Obtained through dungeons, not universally available.
Bold Chieftain’s Aspect
Best Crowd Control Aspect
Aspect Type: Resource
Location: Found on Legendary Items
This Aspect is one of the few aspects unavailable in the player’s Codex of Power. Finding this Aspect is much more complex and random. It is necessary if you are using the Barbarian class. The Bold Chieftain’s Aspect reduces the cooldown of Shout Skills by 1 second for every close enemy.
You can also stack it for six seconds, so the cooldown decreases. It becomes beneficial in a game where enemies constantly surround you.
- Reduces cooldown of Shout Skills.
- Requires close enemies for maximum effectiveness
Aspect Of Perpetual Stomping
Aspect Type: Mobility
Location: Charnel House, Dry Steppes
I would recommend this aspect for any Barbarian build using the Leap skill. Moreover, the Aspect is available in your Codex of Power, so players can easily access it. The Aspect allows players to reset the countdown on their Leap skill every time they damage a player with Kick or Ground stomp. This will be incredibly handy if your build is around the Leap ability.
- Resets Leap skill cooldown on Kick or Ground Stomp damage.
- Specific to Leap skill users.
Druids are an extremely versatile class that can shapeshift into two different animals. As a result, the gameplay becomes very exciting, providing players with creative gameplay choices. However, any Druid build is incomplete without a few Legendary Aspects. Knowing a few of the best ones for this class is essential in a game with plenty of aspects.
Following are some of the best Legendary Aspects for the Druid class in Diablo 4:
Ghostwalker Aspect
Aspect Type: Mobility
Location: Broken Bulwark, Scosglen
The Ghostwalker aspect is excellent for players struggling with the slow movement speed of Druid. Moreover, this Aspect is available in the Codex of Power, so you can get to it more easily. The Aspect allows players to walk freely between the enemies and gain an additional 20% movement speed.
- 20% movement speed bonus, useful for Druids
- Requires enemies to be nearby.
Stormchaser’s Aspect
Aspect Type: Offensive
Location: Found on Legendary Items
This is another one of the aspects not available in the Codex of Power. Therefore, players must play the main campaign or explore the map to find this Aspect. This Aspect benefits the Druid’s natural abilities as this Aspect will use the Tornado as a sort of homing missile that will seek up to 3 enemies at a time.
This did not seem as useful to me in the beginning. However, this will allow for a good distraction and passive damage to enemies in battle.
- Tornado-homing missile effect for Druids
- Not in the Codex of Power.
Shockwave Aspect
Aspect Type: Offensive
Location: Found on Legendary Items
The Sochwave Aspect is not available in the Codex of Power. However, it is an aspect that all Druid players using the Pulverizer Build should use, as this Aspect provides a significant buff to your Pulverizer Skill. This Aspect increases the range and strength of the Pulverizer, making it essential for all Druid users.
- Buffs Pulverizer skill for Druids
- Not in the Codex of Power.
Protecting Aspect
Aspect Type: Defensive
Location: Found on Legendary Items
The Protecting Aspect is another significant legendary aspect to have with you. However, I couldn’t find this Aspect in the Codex of Power. This Aspect protects players low on health and summons a protecting bubble whenever a player takes damage. Moreover, the bubble lasts for 3 to 5 seconds and has a cooldown of 90 seconds.
- Summons a protecting bubble on low health.
- Long cooldown (90 seconds).
The Necromancer is another very versatile class in Diablo 4. This class is capable of bringing the army of undead to the fight. Moreover, this class is for skilled players who want their class to have high Intelligence. However, you would still need a few of the best Legendary Aspects in Diablo 4 to complete your build and beat even the strongest enemies.
Following are some of the best Legendary Aspects for the Necromancer class in Diablo 4:
Blighted Aspect
Aspect Type: Offensive
Location: Akkhan’s Grasp, Hawezar
The Blighted Aspect is an excellent aspect for every Necromancer player to have. Moreover, this Aspect is available in the Codex of Power, making it somewhat easy to acquire. This Aspect will allow players to buff their Blight skills significantly. As a result, when you damage enemies ten times with the passive Shadowblight Key skill, you deal considerably more damage with any skill.
- Buffs Blight skill
- Requires damaging enemies with Shadowblight Key.
Rotting Aspect
Aspect Type: Offensive
Location: Found on Legendary Items
The Rotting Aspect is another great Legendary Aspect for the Necromancer. However, this may be difficult to find because it is unavailable in the Codex of Power. The Aspect provides a significant buff to the Decompose skills, allowing it to inflict two more enemies. Moreover, you have an increased chance of spawning a corpse under affected enemies.
- Buffs Decompose skills
- Not in the Codex of Power.
Splintering Aspect
Aspect Type: Offensive
Location: Guulrahn Slums , Dry Steppes
The Splintering Aspect is another powerful aspect available in the Codex of Power. Moreover, this Aspect provides a significant buff to the Bone Spear skill. This Aspect will allow players to deal more damage with the Bone Spear and make enemies vulnerable more often. Moreover, the spear can throw bone shards that give out bonus damage to the enemies.
- Buffs Bone Spear skill
- Not in the Codex of Power.
Viscous Aspect
Aspect Type: Utility
Location: Found on Legendary Aspects
The Viscous Aspect is a significant aspect. Therefore, I urge all Necromancer players to have this legendary aspect as a must in their builds. This Aspect is unavailable in your Codex of Power, so players must find it independently. However, this Aspect allows players to get two more Skeletal Mages when using that skill.
- Summons two additional Skeletal Mages
- Not in the Codex of Power.
The Rogues are considered the assassin class in Diablo 4, as this class can move incredibly quickly around the battlefield and give out severe punishments. Moreover, the Rogues can teleport their enemies to the shadow dimension and take control of the battlefield. However, you would still need to add a few Legendary Aspects to unlock the full potential of this class.
Following are some of the best Legendary Aspects for the Rogue class in Diablo 4:
Trickshot Aspect
Aspect Type: Offensive
Location: Bastion of Faith, Hawezar
The Trickshot Aspect is readily available for players to unlock in the Codex of Power. Moreover, this is a must-have aspect for the Penetrating Shot builds. This Aspect allows players to split their Penetrating Shot into two arrows after damaging the enemies. Therefore, players can shoot three projectiles while only firing one shot and clear out elite enemies.
- Splits Penetrating Shot into two arrows.
- Specific to Penetrating Shot builds.
Escape Artist’s Aspect
Aspect Type: Defensive
Location: Found on Legendary Items
The Escape Artist aspect is one of the best aspects to have if you want to evade enemies quickly. However, this Aspect is not available in the Codex of Power. This aspect allows players to drop a smoke grenade whenever enemies surround them. As a result, players get time to attack and escape surrounding enemies.
- Drops a smoke grenade when surrounded.
- Not in the Codex of Power.
Bladedancer’s Aspect
Aspect Type: Offensive
Location: Jalal’s Vigil, Scosglen
The Bladedancer’s Aspect can be unlocked in the Codex of Power once the player conquers Jalal’s Vigil dungeon. In my opinion, this is a must-have aspect, especially for the Twisting Blades build. As a result, this Aspect will allow players to give out more damage using their Twisting Blades.
Moreover, the damage of the Twisting Blades increases depending on the distance traveled by the blades.
- Buffs Twisting Blades
- Not in the Codex of Power.
Aspect Of Surprise
Aspect Type: Offensive
Location: Found on Legendary Items
The Aspect of Surprise is another aspect I could not find in the Codex of Power. However, this Aspect ties in nicely with the abilities of Rogue and provides different skills while enemies try to evade. This Aspect allows players to drop a cluster of stun grenades whenever they evade enemies. This will deal damage and stun enemies for up to 2 seconds.
- Drops stun grenades when evading.
- Not in the Codex of Power.
The Sorcerers are the class with the highest Intelligence. As a result, sorcerers are some of the best magic users on the battlefield. Moreover, they can wipe out entire crowds of enemies from a distance. The Sorcerers specialize in putting on status effects on enemies around them. This allows them to deal significant damage from a separate field corner quickly.
Aspect Of Control
Aspect Type: Offensive
Location: Sunken Library, Kehjistan
The Aspect of Control is a Legendary sorcerer Aspect available in the Codex of Power. Moreover, the Aspect is incredibly effective for any sorcerer build. This Aspect allows players to deal 30 to 40% more damage to all the enemies currently vulnerable, frozen, or stunned. This is very useful for sorcerers as their specialty inflicts status effects on enemies.
- Deals more damage
- It relies on applying status effects.
Aspect Of Concentration
Aspect Type: Resource
Location: Found on Legendary Items
This Aspect is another excellent aspect, especially for sorcerers needing Mana Regeneration. However, the Aspect is not in the Codex of Power; this Aspect will allow players to regenerate more mana. However, you are required not to take any damage for up to 3 seconds for this Aspect to work.
- Mana regeneration when not taking damage.
- Requires avoiding damage for 3 seconds.
Aspect Of The Unbroken Tether
Aspect Type: Offensive
Location: Found on Legendary Items
This Aspect of the Sorcerers is not available in the Codex of Power. Therefore, players are required to put in extra effort in locating this Aspect. The Aspect allows players to give a significant buff to the Lightning skill. As a result, players will be able to inflict lightning damage on two additional enemies using the chain effect.
This increases the potency of your skill and the overall damage given out by the skill.
- Buffs Lightning skill
- Not in the Codex of Power.
Recharging Aspect
Aspect Type: Resource
Location: Zenith, Fractured Peaks
The Recharging Aspect is another excellent aspect for sorcerers in the Codex in Power. Moreover, this Aspect is great for people looking to recharge more mana. The Aspect allows players to restore 4 to 6 Mana every time chain lightning bounces off an enemy.
- Restores mana with chain lightning bounces.
- Not in the Codex of Power.
How To Use Legendary Aspects
These items will transform from Rare to Legendary once the aspects are imprinted. Therefore, to imprint Legendary Aspects on items, players must visit the Occultist in the town. The Occultist will let you add Legendary Aspects to an item or remove the Aspect from any object.
However, remember to bring some Gold with you, as the Occultist charges a decent fee.
These Legendary Aspects can sometimes be universal. Therefore, all classes can use these aspects with any item of their choice. I could easily figure out if the Aspect is universal or not through the Aspect’s description. Moreover, players can complete dungeons to collect aspects in their Codex of Power or slay stronger enemies to spawn such items randomly.
Which Legendary Aspect Is The Best?
Choosing the right Legendary Aspect in Diablo 4 is a crucial decision that significantly shapes my gameplay. Among the various options available, one standout choice for me is the “Aspect of Control.” This aspect is a game-changer, offering a substantial 30% to 40% increase in damage dealt to vulnerable, frozen, or stunned enemies.
Its effectiveness perfectly complements my Sorcerer’s ability to apply status effects, making it an invaluable asset for executing a strong offensive strategy. The Aspect of Control consistently elevates my performance, providing a powerful edge in battles and adding depth to my gaming experience.
