Scrap is the main currency earned in Remnant 2, and it has endless uses, such as weapon upgrades, mods, and purchases. Players can farm Scrap in Remnant 2 by multiple methods, allowing them to get loaded in early and late games. Therefore, in this guide, I will help you farm for Scraps to guarantee easy updates and purchases.
Key Takeaways
- Scrap is a currency with numerous uses, such as purchasing heals, armor, weapon upgrades, etc.
- Players must learn how to farm Scrap in the early game to improve their gear and quickly eliminate bosses.
- For a robust farming build, equip the Scavenger’s Bauble amulet and Vacuum Seal Ring to increase the scrap pickup rate by a significant amount.
- For Labyrinth farm, go to Fractured Ingress and kill the Elite Mob at the start to collect Lumenite Crystals.
- These crystals sell for 150 scraps a piece, and you can gather 5000 Scraps in 30 minutes with this farm by respawning the enemies.
- In the late game, visit the Corrupted Harbor area with comparatively more Elite enemies.
- These Elites drop one Lumenite Crystal when defeated. Clear the area, save the game at the checkpoint, and repeat the process.
- At the Forbidden Grove on Yaesha, shoot down the Blood Moon Essence during the event to collect them.
- Each Essence sells for 125 Scraps, and you can gather a lot in less time if you keep revisiting this area during the event.
- Locate the Severed Hand, a rare item inside The Great Sewers found on a body in a hanging cage.
- Shoot this cage using a Merciless Weapon only to drop as many Hands as you want.
- Sell each hand for 250 Scraps to a dealer on Ward 13 and gather thousands of Scraps.
- Always check your inventory for items that are of no use to you. Sell them to an NPC to get extra Scrap.
- Revisiting a location in Adventure mode will allow you to fight all the enemies again, which is a great way to farm.

After spending nearly 40-plus hours on my first playthrough, I have figured out a few smart ways to farm for Scrap. Therefore, this guide will list some methods that have worked for me and allowed me to gather Scrap whenever needed. If you have any other questions, you can always reach out without hesitation.

Selling Items | Ward 13 | Identify unused items in the inventory and sell those that are not for your Archetype | x300 and above. |
Adventure Mode | Not Specific | Revisit locations with Elites dropping Lumenite Crystal, kill them repeatedly to farm. | Not Specific |
Destroying Obstacles | Not Specific | Breakable objects are present everywhere; destroy them and get Scrap | x10 – x50 |
First, we should discuss using Scrap for players new to the worlds of Remnant. Scrap is the most important of many currencies as all the traders need it for exchanging or selling items such as rings, healing, or other consumables. Nothing was more frustrating during my playthrough than going for upgrades and not having enough Scrap.
Without these materials, players will not be strong enough for the late game, which will cause them trouble. To overcome the problem, we introduced farming to gather large amounts.
Overkill Farming Build
Having a build that allows you to collect significant Scrap amounts without searching every minor corner can be a big help. Items for this build are not challenging to find, but it might require some exploration of Yaesha and N’Erud.
Scavenger’s Bauble is an amulet available inside Yaesha. It has no exact location, so keep searching the world by killing enemies and mini-bosses until you find it. However, you can always reroll your world and keep looking if it does not appear in your gameplay.
Scavenger’s Bauble increases the Scrap pickup rate by 50%. With this equipped, you only have to walk close to any scrap lying on the ground, and your archetype will automatically pick it up. This is important as searching every inch of an area can be tedious.
Along with it, equip a Vacuum Seal ring as well. It further enhances the auto-pickup range, allowing you to gather more Scrap. By exploring Timeless Horizon, players can find it in N’Erud inside the Tower of Unsee.
Additionally, these two items provide a perfect combination for the Scrap collection and will prove worthy in the following methods.
Labyrinth Farm
Fractured Ingress inside Labyrinth is probably one of my favorite places to farm for Scrap. From the checkpoint, go up the stairs to the left, where you will witness two gigantic statues made of stone. Walk some steps forward so an Elite Mob spawns from behind the statues.
Elite Mob has a shiny weak spot on its upper half,f which you must target to eliminate faster. It will drop a Lumenite Crystal that you are after. They sell for 150 Scrap a piece, and you can farm them repeatedly on this Elite Mob.
After you defeat it once, go back to save your game at the checkpoint so it spawns back. It takes roughly a minute to kill and grab the Lumenite Crystal. Moreover, repeat this process for 25 to 30 minutes to get almost 5000 Scrap, which covers most of your needs.
This Scrap Farm is helpful in your early phases of the game as Labyrinth is the second world players explore. Killing the mini-boss is more accessible than interacting with other strong bosses like Labyrinth Sentinel. Hence, use the opportunity to farm high amounts of Scrap.
Technique | Location | Brief Description | Scrap Amount |
Labyrinth Farm | Fractured Ingress, Labyrinth | Kill Elite Mob, Collect Lumenite Crystal, Exchange for Scrap | x150 |
Root Earth Farm
Root Earth is the final world of Remnant 2. I realized that this world has more Elite enemies, which makes it harder to beat but easy to farm. Therefore, farm Scrap in Remnant 2 by killing Elite enemies responsible for dropping Lumenite Crysta,l, which can be exchanged for Scrap.
You must travel to the Corrupted Harbor region on Root Earth for the best farming spot. You will face many Root enemies in this area that are Elite. Furthermore, you can kill them to gather significant Lumenite Crystals.
For more intense farming, you can eliminate enemies in a large area, including all the elites, and not proceed further. Use the Liquid Escape potion from your inventory to get back to the closest Checkpoint and respawn all the enemies.
The potion will not run out as it is there for infinite use. Moreover, repeating this process can get you stacked on thousands of Scraps you can keep for upgrading gear and consumables. Root Earth is harsh; you must keep a tanky archetype with healing support to survive. If you are playing solo and do not possess the appropriate build, it will take more time for you to farm Scrap.
You should also check out the Engineer Archetype and see if it suits your play style.
Technique | Location | Brief Description | Scrap Amount |
Root Earth Farm | Corrupted Harbor, Root Earth | Kill all Elites, Collect Lumenite Crystal, Restart checkpoint, Sell for Scrap | x150

Blood Moon Essence Farm
Players will interact with Blood Moon Essence on Yaesha while exploring the Forbidden Grove. These are shiny pink objects flying in the area during the Blood Moon event. The event shows up when you witness a shiny moon in the sky, which is usually untrue.
Even though this is random, it showed up on my first run of the campaign. If you have not seen it yet, keep changing, enrolling, and traveling back to Forbidden Grove to check if the event has shown up yet.
Killing each shiny pink object will provide you with one Blood Moon Essence. Moreover, you can farm Scrap in Remnant 2 by selling these for 125 Scraps a piece. During the event, few Blood Moon Essence spawn; therefore, try to visit any region and travel back to respawn them.
They are straightforward to find, and players can stack eight to ten Blood Moon Essence in three to four minutes. You can stack thousands of Scrap in minutes at this rate, making it an excellent farming method.
Technique | Location | Brief Description | Scrap Amount |
Blood Moon Essence Farm | Forbidden Grove, Yaesha | Collect Blood Moon Essence during the Blood Moon event, sell for Scrap | x125 |
The Great Sewer Farm
If you have unlocked the world of Losomn, you will start your journey at Morrow Parish. Find an underground tunnel that will take you to the Great Sewers. This place gives me the creeps but contains many resources if you want to farm.
Over there, you will see bodies hanging inside cages at the start of the place. One of the bodies will have a purple item glowing on it,t which you must notice. Shoot it so a rare item drops.
This is the Severed Hand that sells for 250 Scrap. However, if you shoot it with a Merciless weapon, the body keeps dropping the Hand infinitely. Players can farm Scrap in Remnant 2 by selling these hands, one of the best techniques for farming.
Technique | Location | Brief Description | Scrap Amount |
The Great Sewer Farm | The Great Sewer, Losomn | Find and shoot body with Severed Hand, use Merciless weapon for an infinite drop, sell for Scrap | x250 |
Selling Items
Keep visiting Ward 13 frequently, where all gear upgrades and consumable purchases are made. Interacting with any dealer lets you sell items. This may be the easiest method I encountered, as it allowed me to eliminate useless things in my inventory while earning a few hundred Scraps.
Selling them will get you Scrap to use on weapon upgrades. Your main priority should be to sell Lumenite Crystals, common among enemies, and sell for 150 Scrap. However, some items are build-specific and depend on your Archetype.
If your class does not use them, you can sell them as they usually go for 300+ Scrap.
This is a mighty Scrap Farm, as you will always have items or materials you are willing to sell. This activity can get you loaded quickly in high amounts of Scrap.
Technique | Location | Brief Description | Scrap Amount |
Selling Items | Ward 13 | Identify unused items in the inventory and sell those that are not for your Archetype | x300 and above |
Adventure Mode
After you defeat the final boss of a world (N’Erud, Labyrinth, Yaesha, Losomn, or Root Earth), these worlds are added to the Adventure Mode feature of Remnant 2. Adventure Mode made it significantly easy for me to visit places and storylines I hadn’t been to before. It also allows you to revisit all the known locations you have discovered, kill the enemies again, and explore more.
Use Adventure Mode to visit places that have easy-to-kill bosses so you can defeat them and grab the loot. The loot will contain high amounts of Scrap for the farm. Moreover, players can take other items to Ward 13 and sell them for more Scrap.
Technique | Location | Brief Description | Scrap Amount |
Adventure Mode | -Not Specific | Revisit locations with Elites dropping Lumenite Crystal and killing them repeatedly to farm. | -Not Specific |
When exploring the World of Remnant, you will notice frequently appearing breakable obstacles. Make a habit of destroying these objects whenever you see them, as Scrap is likely emerging from them.
This is one of my favorite farming methods for Scrap, and the easiest and quickest way is to roll around like a maniac, breaking everything. You can also use melee weapons to do the same.
From time to time, you will investigate Dungeons or regions that have a Red stone at the start as a checkpoint. These areas usually have hidden chests with valuable items and many Scraps.
Ensure you find and open all of them whenever you get the chance.
Killing common enemies that spawn along bosses also drops Scrap randomly. If you have the Scavenger’s Bauble and Vacuum Seal ring equipped, collecting Scrap off their bodies is a great farming technique as you can gather a significant amount from a large area.
Liquid Escape potion is not utilized much among the players as its use is not valued. You can use it to quickly return to the latest checkpoint after killing enemies in a large area.
By doing this, all the enemies will Respawn, and you can repeat the killing process to farm Scrap and other materials that can be sold at Ward 13 in Remnant 2.
What Method Do I Prefer?
I would consider visiting Labyrinth one of the best methods to farm for Scrap in Remnant 2.
Scrap seems insignificant initially, but it becomes essential as you invest in more updates. Too many hours of my 40-plus hours with the game were spent rolling around and gathering Scraps. I could only return to Ward 13 and get the upgrades to fight the next big bad.
However, if you are in sure need of Scrap, I recommend visiting the Labyrinth. All I needed to do was run back and forth from checkpoint to the enemies and collect as much as I needed. Moreover, I could return at any time and gather essential resources.
This is all you need to know about the best ways to farm Scrap in Remnant 2. We hope that you were able to apply these techniques in your gameplay. Read more about Remnant 2:
