With hundreds of hours invested in GTA 5, I know the ins and outs of the game. Navigating through the nooks and crannies of Los Santos on my favorite rides has been my favorite hobby in the game, and while doing so, I have explored every radio station in the game. I am sharing my experience below.

There are 25 radio stations in the game, 24 in each county actively broadcasting, and one that the player can customize.
These stations provide funny character interviews, written commercials, and various high-quality musical genres. These interviews are usually satirical takes on actual ones with famous people, and they always seem to turn into a conflict. Here is the list of all Radio Stations:
- Los Santos Rock Radio
- Blue Ark
- Space 103.2
- Rebel Radio
- Non-Stop-Pop FM
- East Los FM
- Worldwide FM
- Channel X
- Los Santos Underground Radio
- West Coast Classics
- Blaine County Talk Radio
- Radio Mirror Park
- WCTR – Talk Radio

- The Lowdown 91.1
- Vinewood Boulevard Radio
- Soulwax FM
- FlyLo FM
Los Santos Rock Music Radio
- I like this one as it plays various classic rock songs under the legendary Kenny Loggins’ hosting.
- This station plays songs from rock’s golden age, from Queen to The Eagles.
Radio Mirror Park
- Radio Mirror Park provides a unique listening experience through its indie and electronic music blend. With tracks from popular artists and an engaging atmosphere, Radio Mirror Park provides an immersive listening experience.
- I also love DJ George’s humorous and insightful commentary, which adds to the station’s entertainment value.
Non-Stop POP FM
- If pop music is your thing, look no further than Non-Stop-Pop FM.
- This station plays a diverse selection of pop songs from the 1980s, 1990s, and today, hosted only by Cara Delevingne.
Rebel Radio: Country
- Even though it only broadcasts 17 tracks, I still consider Rebel Radio to be one of the best radio stations in the game. One of the few radio hosts who appears in the game is Jesco White, host of the country station Rebel Radio.
- It is great for creating a country mood because it plays songs by country greats like Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and Waylon Jennings. Its rural settlements, deserts, and extensive highway networks characterize it.
The Lowdown 91.1: Soul
- Pam Grier, an iconic actress, plays radio DJ Mama G on The Lowdown 911. The Lowdown’s emphasis on vintage soul music gives the game an essential dose of funk.
- The Five Stairsteps’ “O-O-H Child” and Marlena Shaw’s “California Soul” are just two of the many timeless classics played frequently.
Blonded Los Santos 97.8 FM
- Frank Ocean and his friends created a radio show called Blonded Los Santos based on the popular real-life program Blonded RADIO. Frank’s handpicked playlist gives Blonded the widest range of musical styles available on any radio station.
- This is one of the few new stations added to the game after its first release. Including music produced after Grand Theft Auto 5’s 2013 release breathes new life into the game and makes it feel more current.
Vinewood Boulevard Radio
- With Vinewood Boulevard Radio, there’s no holding back from living out your wildest indie rock crime life fantasies.
- I believe there’s room for improvement in the station’s playlist, but the bands and songs it does play are good. Wavves, Bleached, Ceremony, The Soft Pack, and the Men are just a few of the featured musicians.
East Los FM
- East Los FM is one of the few radio stations that truly belongs in Los Angeles.
- It’s one of my favorite radio stations to listen to while driving throughout the game world, whether you’re carjacking, robbing gas stations, racing, doing errands, killing a boss, or just chilling.
Channel X
- Punk rock legend and frontman for bands like Off! Keith Morris of Black Flag and Circle Jerks hosts Channel X. The station is unique in that most of its playlist is composed of music from Los Angeles-based bands from the 1970s and 1980s.
- The GTA 5 series fits the punk rock style since it has always been controversial. The station also provides entertainment for the motorcycle gangs of San Andreas, such as The Lost MC.
FM FlyLo
- Flying Lotus is the station’s host alongside a rotating cast of celebrity guests like Hannibal Burress. A few FlyLo FM songs were written for or published only for GTA 5.
- The station’s popularity is partly attributed to the regular addition of new tracks by well-known musicians like Flying Lotus and Tyler, The Creator. The radio stations in GTA are unrivaled because of the dedication of the musical artists to the game.
Western Music Icons
- Listening to West Coast Classics will transport players back to the San Andreas era of Grand Theft Auto.
- Hip-hop from the West Coast, including classics by Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre from the ’80s and ’90s. DJ Pooh is a rapper and record producer responsible for the station’s music selection.
IFruit Radio
- Almost all of the music was contemporary Hip-Hop or Rap. This radio station gained popularity with songs by Travis Scoot, DaBaby, and Pop Smoke.
- The Radio Station also mirrored GTA 5’s gang and criminal gameplay. Frank Ocean hosts it.
FM Blue Ark
- Reggae listeners love this station because it’s DJ Lee “Scratch” Perry, a legendary producer and dub master from Jamaica.
- However, because this genre is underrated, only a small percentage of players will enjoy this station.
West Coast Talk Radio(WCTR)
- WCTR is the go-to station for entertaining talk shows and hilarious satire.
- Hosted by Lazlow Jones and Michele Makes, WCTR delivers insightful commentary on current events, politics, and celebrity culture in Los Santos.
Blaine County Radio Station
- Additionally, Blaine County Radio presents a unique perspective on the rural lifestyle in San Andreas, which sets it apart from the other radio stations in the game.
- Through a mix of conspiracy theories, local news, and survival tips, the station offers an interesting and entertaining glimpse into the world of the countryside.
- I especially like the eccentric and humorous personality of the station’s host, Ron Jakowski, who further adds to the station’s charm and makes for an unforgettable in-game experience.
Self Radio
- Furthermore, for PC players, the game’s custom radio station allows for even more personalization.
- Players can add a new dimension of immersion and enjoyment to the game by importing their music files and creating a custom playlist with this function.
- In this way, Self Radio allows players to tailor their in-game experience to their preferences, enhancing the game’s overall appeal.
My Thoughts
GTA 5’s radio stations have produced numerous iconic tracks that have become fan favorites. For instance, “Gin and Juice” by Snoop Dogg, “Skeletons” by Stevie Wonder, and “Fortunate Son” by Creedence Clearwater Revival are just a few of the many memorable songs that I, along with most players, have come to love.
I usually switch between all the stations depending on my mood. For my own taste, I mostly rely on the self-radio.
