This post will help you understand how Amiibo Unlock – those cool, small toys- can bring extra fun to your game. As we explore how they work, we will uncover the neat surprises they can add to your gameplay.
Once you are done, you can activate the Amiibo Rune option in the game settings. Now, players can use their Zelda Series Amiibos on the NFC point of their controller to summon exclusive items or companions.
How To Use Amiibos?
Open the game menu. Find the ‘ Save‘ and ‘Load ‘options.
From there, choose ‘Options’ and find the one that says ‘Amiibo.’
Turn on ‘Activate Amiibo Functionality.’
With the Amiibo function turned on, it will be added to abilities menu.
Now, you must scan the Amiibo, and once that is done, place the scanner circle over a game region without obstacles, such as exits.
Place your Amiibo figurine or card on the right side of my Switch controller. Remember to do this gently when your Switch is in handheld mode.
Scanning an Amiibo is like opening a surprise gift! The rewards range from extra materials and cool outfits to minor game enhancements that give your adventure a fun twist.
The Link (Tears of the Kingdom) Amiibo grants you a particular Paraglider Fabric.
The Link (Majora’s Mask) Amiibo rewards you with a unique Majora’s Mask Paraglider Fabric, Fierce Deity Mask clothing item, Fierce Deity Armor clothing item, and Fierce Deity Boots clothing item, along with ingredients and weapons.
You can get Hylian-Hood Paraglider Fabric, materials, and weaponry by scanning the Link (Rider – Breath of the Wild) with an Amiibo.
With the Link (Skyward Sword) Amiibo, you will get the Sword-Spirit Paraglider Fabric, Cap of the Sky clothing item, and a White Sword of the Sky.
The Link (Twilight Princess) Amiibo gets you Epona, Mirror of Twilight Paraglider Fabric, and Cap of the Twilight clothing item.
And many more!
Are Amiibos Worth The Effort?
Yes, using Amiibos made my gameplay experience much more fun. These small figures give cool rewards like outfits and helpful items that significantly aided my playthrough. If you also have these figurines, I recommend scanning them for your gameplay and enjoying its unique rewards.
