Don Joewon Song, a racing game YouTuber, found both cars in the game’s roster, but players can’t claim them yet. Fans confirmed this information by checking the Horizon Promo menu, which displays the cars.
At present, players cannot acquire these cars. However, they can observe them in blueprint events within the Event Lab. In the Event Lab, AI opponents can race using these vehicles. Players can expect a future promotional event where they will receive the cars as gifts or be tasked with missions to unlock them.
The connection between Barbie and Forza Horizon may seem unusual, but it makes sense as both are products of Mattel, which also owns Hot Wheels. Forza Horizon 5 had a Hot Wheels expansion last year, continuing the partnership between Mattel and the franchise that started with Forza Horizon 3 in 2017.

Speculations suggest that a Barbie-themed promotional event is also planned in the game after the official release of the Barbie movie on July 21. This event could potentially offer players the chance to unlock the Barbie cars. Furthermore, Playground Games has a track record of generously giving cars to players. Thus, making it likely for them to offer the Barbie cars similarly.
