Battlefield 2042 New Vehicles, Reference Of New Motorcycles Found In Game Data

Recently, a data miner@temporyal has confirmed Battlefield 2042 new vehicles for portal maps found in the game files following the latest 2.2.0 update. These new vehicles include Bikes for the portal mode maps. Additionally, the motorcycles are referenced from Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 1942, confirming their possibility of arrival in the portal mode.

Battlefield 3 had two motorcycles: the Quad Bike and the Dirt bike. Since the Quad Bike is already in Battlefield 2042, the upcoming vehicle is confirmed to be Battlefield 3’s Dirt bike.

The Dirt bike from Battlefield 3 is designed after the M1030M1 for the US Marines. The bike can go up to 90 miles per hour, making it one of the fastest land vehicles in the game, hence its popularity. Moreover, it allows riding up to two people, the driver, and the passenger, with an almost 360-degree view with access to the infantry weapons, unlike the Quad bike, which allows only rear-direction shooting.

Some speculations also hope that maps from the Endgame expansion of Battlefield 3 will also arrive in Battlefield 2042. It is because those maps were specifically designed for bikes, and maps had ramps and terrains for an exhilarating gameplay experience.

On the other side, we may also expect to see vehicles from Battlefield 1942, which include BMW R75 and Harley-D XA42. Both bikes were military issued in real life with good durability and mobility.

The XA42 featured in the Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons of WWII had a sidecar armed with an M2 Browning machine gun. The Allied faction in Battlefield 1942 notably used the vehicle.

The R75, on the other hand, is the identical counterpart of the XA42 but used by the Germans faction in Battlefield 1942. This one used the MG42 machine gun, allowing players to traverse the map easily and claim kills while on the move.

We do not know many details for now, and players are speculating whether one or both vehicles will be coming to the game. While there isn’t much difference at first glance, both can be used for tremendously exciting mobile firefights. Take this with a grain of salt, as these are just data mined results, and players are still awaiting official announcements about the upcoming vehicles in Battlefield 2042.
