Indie Horror Choo-Choo Charles Release Date Confirmed

Choo-Choo Charles release date has finally been confirmed. For those who do not know, it is an open-world, indie horror game on an island. Here you navigate around the island in an old train engine. Choo-Choo Charles is developed and will be published by indie developers Two Star Games.

Two Star Games is famous for its horror games like My friend is a Raven. Choo Choo Charles is mainly a very anticipated game cause it’s inspired by Blaine the Mono and Charlie the Choo-Choo from Stephen King’s The Dark Tower series.

Choo Choo Charles release date is confirmed for December 9th, 2022, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox series X.

The story is about a horrifying personification of Thomas, the tank engine out for blood. Choo-Choo Charles, the bloodthirsty train from hell, wants to devour your flesh. It has gnarly sharp teeth to bite onto your flesh and spidery legs. The spidery legs add to its mobility and no longer bound to a train track.

Your objective is simple, survive, loot, and destroy the bloodthirsty Choo Choo Charles. You’ll have to do quests and help out the island’s residents. Loot supplies from the parts of the island to help you achieve your goal

You’ll have an old train engine to help you move around the island, and it will be the only means of transport. To fight Charles, upgrade your train engine, mount weapons on it, and increase its armor.

By the looks of the trailer, Charles won’t be the only thing to look out for. There will be NPC human enemies to look out for as well. Be wary of them when you leave your train to go and loot.

There will be multiple mounted guns to fight the bloodthirsty Charles. A machine gun, A flame thrower, a high-caliber round gun, a rocket launcher, and maybe more will come as the game traces some black magic elements.

The game also has a map to help you better navigate the small island. You can track quests and points of interest and mark points on the map to navigate there by following a signal indicating it.

The one thing that makes horror games way scarier is being handicapped for the ability to fight back. Your train will be the only defense you have. On foot, you can’t have any weapons. So be sure not to come into contact with enemies and be out of their field of view by using the game’s stealth elements.

A single person is developing Choo Choo Charles; by the looks of it, he has done some extraordinary work. Hopefully, we will see more horror enjoyable horror games by Two Star Games in the future.
