Fire Emblem has been having a great last few years in terms of both game popularity and the amount of money they make, and now Fire Emblem Engage has leaked. Fire Emblem Engage has been officially rated in Korea according to a website and now gives us a good idea of when we can get the game. The game’s release and the rating itself are both worth talking about.
It will be comforting for many Fire Emblem fans to know that this game has been rated within the same range as the other Fire Emblem games. In the case of Fire Emblem Engage, it has been rated for everyone the age of 12 and up. This rating in Korea is equivalent to the T for teen ratings in North America.
The sole reason that this game was given this rating was that it features violence. It cites mild violence and lists characters fighting each other with weapons. It isn’t surprising that it got this rating because it is the same as the other entries in the series, and these games can be similar. It is still good to know that this game will not be veering too far off the known formula for fans.
Fire Emblem Engage is currently set to release on January 20, 2023. Now that it is rated in South Korea, it may be in the final development stages.
So the good news is you can test this game out in just a few months. The date may seem close to the announcement, but they’re trying to ride the wave of the initial confirmation and hype that followed. Hence the close timing.
Fire Emblem Engage is a magical world that has four different nations. Hundreds of years ago, these nations teamed up to stop a massive dragon that threatened their world. That, once again, the dragon is becoming a threat means the world needs a hero. That is where you come in. As the protagonist, you must make all the choices to save the world.
The good news is you won’t be doing this alone. The game will feature many new companions for you to take along. We’ll be integrated into the tactical combat system that has made these games popular for so long. In addition to your companions, you can summon heroes from other worlds. The cool part is that these heroes are protagonists and other characters from the Fire Emblem series.
We know that these over heroes will be necessary for defeating the dragon and that only you can summon them. We also know that you can merge these spirits with your active companions to give them boosts in combat.
