Fortnite Chapter 3 Will Transition To Season 5 With A New Event
A new Fortnite event has been confirmed, with some recent reports also confirming Season 5. According to the prior speculations, Chapter 3 would not end with Chapter 4. Meanwhile, now it has been confirmed that Season 5 will be coming on December 5th with a new big event planned within Chapter 3.
The latest news has surfaced on Twitter that Season 4 will end on December 3rd while also marking the beginning of Season 5, which will start with a new event in Fortnite, making the game unplayable for a while in between the transition.
Reports confirm that some recent collabs and event leaks are baseless rumors which don’t weigh each other.
Epic Games is also found to be trying to suppress some leaks by keeping the information about stuff to a bare minimum number of people but still, some information is now making rounds on the internet.
There is not much information about the event, but the recent report confirms some previous claims made about the Season 5 of Fortnite.
In September 2022, we got to receive information from Tom Henderson, a certified leaker, who had confirmed that Season 5 would start in December, and multiple other Fortnite leakers have now confirmed the following news to be accurate and with a new big event to transition Season 4 to Season 5 of Chapter 3.
According to the leaks, Season 4 will end on December 3rd, making the game offline for 12 hours. After that, a new patch will put the servers into a downtime of 4 hours. Once the game is patched, Chapter 3 of Season 5 will begin on December 5th 2022.
Apart from the event, Epic Games is found to be trying to suppress leaks and rumors, which have been a pain for developers. They have tried to keep the information confidential, but still, the information is out on the internet.
Many rumors about the content, like collaborations, are still yet to come into the game. Meanwhile, official reports claim that most of the rumored collabs are just baseless. While for now, we do not know if it is true, as there might have been planning for a collab, but certain factors might not have made it possible for it to happen.
Epic recommends players to avoid baseless rumors and also never keep higher expectations for something that won’t actually be happening. There have been many rumors and actual leaks that have some weight to them. Reports confirm that these leaks are a headache for the developers, as some things are just scrap tests and might not be delivered to the game.
There's indeed an event at the end of this season on December 3rd, according to @_Tom_Henderson_'s sources!
