Fortnite is known for many things that range from being one of the largest games played to be a potential example of internet 3.0. But one of the most common things to happen is that they add or use many licensed characters, and I do mean a lot. But now it appears that some guests from Resident Evil will be stopping by as Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield are coming to Fortnite.

Fortnite seems to change out of its available licensed characters every few months to keep things interesting. It is interesting because, in general, you will have no idea who will be the next characters you will see. Now it is that time again as we are getting all new characters. In this instance, we will get two characters from the Resident Evil series. The first one we’ll be able to play is Leon Kennedy, and the second is Claire Redfield. These two are up on the main characters in the Resident Evil series.
It will be really interesting to see them in this game. We know you’ll be able to acquire them through the in-game shop, which means they should be available to most players.
Now, all we have right now is the two characters you can play as in the game, but this is not all Fortnite usually releases in one go. Usually, there is also equipment or other types of cosmetics made available to buy during these events. Maybe that’ll just be these two characters, or we will get more info in the coming weeks.
It will also be interesting to see these characters’ special moves. Perhaps it’ll be special weapons or unique moves from the games. Resident Evil’s standard combat style does not differ too much from many of Fortnite’s started to play. So it should be easy enough to integrate these characters into the game for now.
This is not the first time Resident Evil has been in Fortnite, as they had already had the S.T.A.R.S Team Set, which included characters Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine. In addition to these two characters, the set also included several items.
This included things like the stun baton from the game and the green healing herb. Perhaps you’ll get variations on these with the new set being released.
