Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 New Battle Pass Seemingly Posted Early
The new Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 Battle Pass has been leaked by an official Australian Twitter of the game, and it seems to have quite a lot of packed cosmetics. Not just the cosmetics but we also got to see a good look at the new unlocking system.
The new Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 Battle pass includes 100 unlockable rewards, with 23 items like functional new weapons.
Call of Duty will feature a new reward unlocking system of sector system on a big map, where you supposedly choose the path to which sector to unlock next.
After unlocking all sectors, you can unlock the bonus sector with a rare Operator and a Weapon Blueprint.
The Battle Pass will be featured for both games, and you won’t need to buy them separately.
The Battle pass will start on the 17th of this month with the start of the seasonal system.
The total amount of rewards in the battle pass seems to be a total of one hundred rewards. The rewards include Guns, Operators, and Vehicle Cosmetics. Players can also expect over twenty-three functional weapons from the battle pass. Moreover, it can also earn you hefty amount of Call of Duty points as well.
The new unlocking system seems very user-friendly now, as you can choose what you want to unlock first. The process includes a full-on map layout where the gig is to unlock the map sector by sector. Each sector has five rewards you can unlock by playing the game and earning battle token tier skips to unlock the rewards one by one. Players can finally receive a high-value reward for completing all sectors.
After completing one sector, you can choose the next based on how you are continuing. Finally, completing all other sectors and collecting their rewards allows you to unlock the bonus reward, which seems to have an invaluable operator and weapon skin.
The point to be noted is that not all rewards are free, and you need to buy the Battle Pass Upgrade to collect all one hundred rewards. The upgraded Battle Pass includes Operator cosmetics, weapon blueprints, and 1400 Call of Duty points.
The Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 Battle pass has been confirmed to release on the 17th of November and will be featured for both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0. There is no need to buy the Battle pass for both games separately, and you can use the operators, weapon blueprints, and Call of Duty points on both games.
