League of Legends has had an enduring legacy for over a decade, and in that time, riot has done surprisingly little beyond the poor game. We have seen that change within the last few years and more different titles are coming out. However, one has been leaked because the South Korean game rating suggests a new League Of Legends game from Riot. So let’s look at what this new game will be about and what it could mean for the more expansive League universe.

Summary

  • A South Korean game rating suggests a new League Of Legends title from Riot Games.
  • This new game will focus on Sylas, a popular character from the LOL universe.
  • This is a Forge title, so that it will be a game for both PC and Console.

Riot Games has been steadily increasing the number of games over the last few years. While some of these are their properties, like Valorant, most are somehow tied into League of Legends. This latest leaked game will be titled The Mage Seeker: A League of Legends story. The leaked rating also revealed that the main character would be Sylas. The leak was found by @Osevno on Twitter.

While the details of the game were sparse, the title and the main character tell us quite a bit about the game. Sylas is a mage from a country called Demacia. The problem is that using magic in that country is illegal, and he was essentially converted to work for their version of the inquisition.

Eventually, he couldn’t take what they were doing and rebelled, using his magic for the first time and killing people. From there, he was imprisoned but would escape and continued seeking freedom for mages.

So why is that backstory relevant? It will likely be the plot for the entire game and give us a more detailed look at those events. This has steadily been a reoccurring factor with Riot products, like Arcane, where we get a better look at VI and Jinx origins.

This expansion and further delving into the game’s universe seem to be paying off. We will likely see continued expansion into the more excellent League of Legends universe in the future, with several new games already confirmed.

That is all we have on a South Korean game rating that suggests a new League Of Legends game from Riot.
