Before this and even currently, the only way to get the trilogy is by buying it from the Rockstar launcher.

This decision to port it to Steam might even boost the game’s sales even further from the current sales of 14 million units, which is a huge profit provided how much they had invested in the porting of the game by a very new studio at that.

It is highly expected that there will be something good to announce if you observe the current rumors and stuff about the game. Rockstar Games intends for the Trilogy to be complete and will feature and follow up on some good content and hardware performance.
