Diablo 4 has a few different classes for players to choose from. However, there is no specific Healer or medic Class in Diablo 4, so you have to work with the available classes.
Key Takeaways
Even though there is no exclusive best Healer class, every other class gets a few healing skills. These are our picks for some of the best healer classes in Diablo 4:
- Barbarian:
- Tank Class: Designed for close encounters, excelling in dealing and absorbing damage.
- Healing Skills: Offers skills like Raid Leader, Invigorating Fury, and Tactical Iron Skin for health regeneration.
- Druid:
- Shapeshifter: Can transform into a Werebear or Werewolf, each with distinct combat styles.
- Healing Skills: Includes abilities like Mending, Enhanced Shred, Circle of Life, and Blood Howl for health regeneration.
- Sorcerer:
- Intelligence Focus: Possesses the highest Intelligence stats but is more susceptible to damage.
- Healing Skills: Features Warmth and Shimmering Flame Shield for health recovery.
- Rogue:
- The Agile Class is known for speed and agility in close and long-range combat.
- Healing Skills: Enhanced Flurry, Mending Obscurity, and Siphoning Strikes for health regeneration.
- Necromancer:
- Corpse Resurrector: Can resurrect corpses to create an undead army for assistance.
- Healing Skills: Offers skills like Gruesome Mending, Enhanced Blood Surge, Abhorrent Iron Maiden, and Blood Mist for health regeneration.
Throughout my exploration of Diablo 4, I had the opportunity to delve into various character classes and experiment with their unique skills. During my experience, I discovered several noteworthy skills across different classes that show promising healing capabilities.

Barbarian
Why did I Choose Barbarian? Being the tank class, the Barbarian can withstand and give out an incredible amount of damage to enemies of all kinds. It is designed for close encounters so that it can take more beating. It comes with its own unique set of skills specially designed for healing.
Other options are available if you run out of Healing potions as a Barbarian. However, I should emphasize that these skills are not designed to be highly dependable and are only used as a last resort.
Name of Skill | Description of the Skill |
---|---|
Raid Leader | The Shout will Heal 1% of the Total Health of your friends or other players. |
Invigorating Fury | This Skill will allow you to regenerate 3% of the Total Health for every 100 Fury used. |
Tactical Iron Skin | You can get 10% as Health of the Barrier's total Health while the Iron Skin is active. |
Enhanced Lunging Strike | This adds a feature to your Lunging Strike. As a result, the Strike will Heal you 2% of the Total Health whenever you attack a Healthy enemy. |
Fighter's Rupture | You can get 15% of your Total Health if you hit one enemy with your Rupture Skill. |

- Durable Tank

- Group Healing
- Limited Range
- Fury Dependency
Druid
Why did I Choose Druid? The Druid can shapeshift into a Werebear and Werewolf. The Werebear becomes the hard-hitting form, and the Werewolf becomes the quick-attacking form. However, as these Druids fight the enemies up close, they are prone to take more damage.
As a result, the Druids come with a few skills that will help them regenerate Health. They are only capable of converting a small fraction of your total Health. Players are advised not to depend on these skills for health regeneration and only consider them their last hope.
Name of Skill | Description of the Skill |
---|---|
Mending | This Skill allows you to receive an extra 5% healing from everything whenever you are in Werebear form. |
Enhanced Shred | If you hit an enemy with the Shred, you will get 2% of your Maximum Life. |
Circle of Life | The Nature Magic Skills that will use up Spirits will help you regenerate 1, 2, or 3% of Health. |
Blood Howl | This Skill will allow you to Shapeshift into a Werewolf and howl. As a result, the Skill will restore 20% of your Total Health. |
Preserving Debilitating Roar | The Debilitating Roar skill will allow players to regenerate 4% of their Total Life. Moreover, this occurs for every second the Skill is active. |
Prime Lacerate | You can regenerate 3% of your Maximum Life whenever you land a Critical Strike with Lacerate. |

Sorcerer
Why did I Choose Sorcerer? The sorcerers may not be the most durable Class. But it is still a class with plenty of skills.
With the highest Intelligence stats, Sorcerers are also prone to intake more damage. This is especially true in the early game, where I was frustrated to learn that 2 or 3 good hits could take out my Sorcerer.
Name of the Skill | Description of the Skill |
---|---|
Warmth | This Skill allows you to heal yourself 0.3% of your Total Health every time you burn an Enemy. Moreover, this becomes 0.6% if you burn bosses. |
Shimmering Flame Shield | Using the Flame Shield, you can get 50% of your empty health slot. |

- High Intelligence
- Ranged Attacks
- Self-Healing
- Low Durability
- Mana Management
Rogue
Why did I Choose Rogue? Rogue is one of the quickest and most agile classes I played during my run. They are masters of close and long-range combats.
As a result, they can mix up skills to attack enemies close by or far in the distance.
Still, they are not the tanky class known in the game. They rely on their speed and skills to get out of enemy attacks. But, if you are caught up in enemy attacks, you can use potions or skills to regain some of your Health.
Name of the SKill | Description of the Skill |
---|---|
Enhanced Flurry | This Skill will let you heal 1% of your Maximum Health every time you hit a vulnerable or crowd-controlled enemy. Moreover, this could stack up to 12% |
Mending Obscurity | You can Heal 1% of your Maximum Life per second while using Stealthed. |
Siphoning Strikes | Hitting enemies with a Critical Strike will grant you 1% of your Total Life. |

- Agile Fighter
- Quick Speed
- Siphoning Skills
- Limited Durability
- Positional Reliance
Necromancer
Why did I Choose Necromancer? The Necromancers are a class of exceptional individuals capable of resurrecting corpses. As a result, the army of undead can aid players during battle and add new excitement to the gameplay.
The lack of Durability is why I think Necromance has some incredible skills that will help in health regeneration. These abilities are only secondary to the healing potions commonly found in the game.
Name of the Skill | Description of the Skill |
---|---|
Gruesome Mending | You will receive 10% additional healing from potions or skills only if your Health drops below 50%. |
Enhanced Blood Surge | The Blood Surge skill can now heal 2.5% of your Total Health whenever you draw blood from enemies. However, you can double this amount if you draw blood from 4 enemies or more. |
Abhorrent Iron Maiden | If an enemy dies from the Iron Maiden skill, you get 5% heal of Total life. |
Blood Mist | This Skill will make players immune for 3 seconds. However, this reduces movement speed and heals only 0.5% of your Health. |
Necromancer Skills table.
- Summoner
- Healing Skills
- Versatile Strategies
- Fragile
- Complex Gameplay
A few other items in the game could also help players heal themselves. These are special items such as Gems and Skull Pieces. However, it is essential to remember that the properties of all these gems vary.
What Would I Recommend?
Even though I was a little disappointed that there was no healer class, I never had a problem with not having a healer around. I found the Healing Potions to be commonly available, and a few of the classes also had skills that could help in Health Regeneration.
I should also clarify that these Skills are not monumental in healing the player; they should provide a few extra Hit Points so you can survive. Still, the primary source of healing in Diablo 4 will be the Potions players gather along the way.
Nevertheless, if you still want a class with a few decent healing skills, hopefully, the guide can help you.
